Distributor, not producer - and why that matters to you
We do not own a spray dryer. FDCM sources WPC 80 from established EU dairy processors and holds it in stock in Poland. It is worth being explicit about this, because the distinction changes what we are good for and what we are not.
What a distributor gives you that a producer will not
- A 15 kg minimum. A whey plant's commercial minimum is a truck, because breaking a lot to fill a 15 kg order destroys their cost model. Ours is built around it.
- Multi-product consolidation. One order, one pallet, one freight cost covering WPC 80, casein, maltodextrin and lecithin. A single producer only sells you their own output.
- Availability across producers. When one source is short or reformulating, we source from another. A direct producer relationship gives you exactly one point of failure.
- Speed. Stock is on a rack in Warsaw. There is no production slot to wait for.
What a producer gives you that we will not
- The lowest possible price at 24 t. If you consume full truckloads on a stable schedule, buy direct. We would tell you the same in a phone call.
- Bespoke specification. Custom protein windows, custom heat classes and custom agglomeration are made to order, not stocked.
- Plant audits and supplier approval visits. We can facilitate; we are not the audit subject.
If your annual WPC 80 consumption is under roughly 50 tonnes, or is irregular, or spans several grades, the distributor model is almost always the better commercial answer. Above that, on a single stable grade, go direct and use a distributor for gap-filling.
Evaluating suppliers for a WPC 80 tender?
Send the specification and the volume. You will get a straight answer on whether we can serve it, at what price, and where the constraints are. If the honest answer is that you should buy direct from a producer, we will say that too.

How to qualify us as a supplier
If you run a formal supplier approval process, here is what you will need and where it comes from.
| Requirement | Availability | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Product specification sheet | Standard | Sent with the offer |
| Batch Certificate of Analysis | Standard | Ships with every consignment |
| Allergen declaration | Standard | Ships with every consignment |
| HACCP evidence | Available | On request |
| Certificate of origin | On request | State the requirement in the order |
| Halal certificate | Where available by lot | Ask before ordering - it is lot-dependent |
| Pesticide / antibiotic screen | Custom analysis | Quoted separately, adds lead time |
| Supplier questionnaire | Completed on request | Send your template to contact@fdcm.eu |
One caveat worth stating in advance: because we are a distributor with multiple sources, a document that is lot-specific - halal being the common one - cannot be guaranteed in perpetuity across all future lots. If a lot-specific certificate is a hard requirement for your product, say so before the first order so that sourcing can be constrained accordingly, rather than discovering it at goods-in.

WPC 80 supplier - FAQ
No. FDCM E-Commerce S.A. is a stockholding distributor and e-commerce supplier. We source WPC 80 from established EU dairy processors and hold it in stock in Poland. We are explicit about this because it determines what we are good at - small quantities, fast dispatch, multi-product consolidation - and what we are not, which is bespoke production and truckload pricing.
EU dairy origin. The specific country and producer are lot-dependent and stated on the batch documentation. If origin is a fixed requirement for your specification or labelling, tell us before ordering so sourcing can be constrained to match.
Yes. Fixed quarterly pricing against an indicative offtake, and call-off arrangements from a reserved lot, are both available. Send your expected volume and grade to start that conversation.
Yes. FDCM's range covers both food and feed applications, including feed-grade whey powders and amino acids. Specify the intended use in the enquiry - the documentation and the applicable regulation differ between food and feed.
We complete supplier questionnaires and provide HACCP evidence and documentation on request. Physical audits of the production plant have to be arranged with the producer of the specific lot, which we can facilitate but do not control.
Pallet and multi-pallet orders are routine. Beyond a few tonnes on a single stable grade, it is worth asking whether direct producer supply serves you better - we will tell you honestly if it does.
All EU member states, via DSV road freight, in 1-6 business days depending on distance. Export outside the EU, including the UK and Switzerland, is available with standard export documentation.
